There was lots of noise keeping me up too - traffic, revving motorbikes, police sirens, other guests being loud as they went to their rooms at midnight. The mattress seemed very old and saggy and the AC never got cold enough for me to sleep very well. The rooms are nice enough but the back patio just has one measly plastic chair (and two hornet's nests.) And there was no fridge! I've stayed in all kinds of cheap hotels and they've all had a mini-fridge.
I ended up at the Rodeway for a spur-of-the-moment stay on a Saturday night and felt like I paid a lot ($170) for not much. Noisy - lots of traffic noise, guests walking by The river in the back and a wide lawn is niceĪC didn't quite get the room cold enough to be comfortable to sleep, and had a hard time cooling off the back bathroom area - like it couldn't reach that far
